Erik Berg
Principal Broker
After earning a business degree from the University of Colorado Boulder, Erik Berg was commissioned as an officer in the United States Marine Corps, where he led Marines as a Company Commander in overseas operations. Following his military service, he spent nearly a decade traveling the world as a federal criminal investigator — developing a keen eye for detail, discipline, and sound judgment under pressure.
A Portland native, Erik returned to Oregon in 2014, drawn back by the lifestyle and landscape that always in the back of his mind. He joined forces with his mother, Cindy Berg-Wagner, to form Berg Brokers — bringing with him a wealth of experience, a sharp analytical mind, and an unwavering commitment to integrity and results.
Today, Erik specializes in residential real estate across Bend and Central Oregon. His clients benefit not only from his strategic mindset and professionalism, but also from his genuine care, discretion, and dedication to their goals.
Outside of real estate, Erik enjoys life in Bend with his wife and daughters, taking full advantage of the region’s endless opportunities for adventure — from mountain slopes to camping trips and everything in between.
Karl Berg
Broker
Karl Berg is a second-generation real estate broker who brings nearly a decade of experience with Berg Brokers — and 20+ years of local knowledge — to every transaction. He joined his brother Erik to help build a real estate brokerage rooted in trust, transparency, and results.
Karl brings a straightforward approach to the business. No fluff, no games — just honest advice and a clear focus on what matters: helping you make the smartest investment and landing you in a home you truly love.
Known for his down-to-earth demeanor, Karl values genuine relationships with his clients. He’s the kind of guy who’d rather grab a beer and hear about your goals than deliver a polished pitch. Once he understands your vision, he gets to work — focused, fast, and fully committed.
Outside of work, it’s all about family and the outdoors for Karl. He and his wife, Michelle, are raising their son to love the high desert lifestyle just as much as they do — snowboarding in the winter, camping in the summer, and adventuring year-round with their Bernese Mountain Dog in tow.
